I am happy to announce I am off to Dublin tomorrow as a judge in this amazing contest. Last year, like a lot of foodie events, the World Steak Challenge was cancelled due to Covid 19. The World Steak Challenge was created 7 years ago to find the best steaks in the world and I’ve judged at all six contests. As interesting as the contest is and a chance to renew old friendships from around the world, we are also taken on a study tour of food and drink producers in the host country to find out more, so watch this space!
The last contest was also held in Ireland and you can read about my trip here. To understand the origins of the contest and how it works read my earlier post here.
Interesting post, Kevin. I hope you have a marvelous time! Steak is a favorite with us!

Thanks Cheryl. I love being invited to judge food competitions, not just for the great food but because I learn so much.

Thanks Elvira, for your kind and warm words of support. Do you see black garlic in recipes in Spain?
