The other day I published the second episode of my podcast series on my youtube channel and you can find the episode further down the page.
My YouTube channel also passed another milestone and I now have over 8,000 subscribers! In the big scheme of things 8,000 is very small but I am very pleased with how my subscription numbers have climbed from 7,000 in March to 8,000 by the end of May, which gives me hope of passing 10,000 later this year.
Another milestone, for me personally, was the promotional photo below that I created using ChatGTP; I just uploaded a photo of myself and asked the AI to add the rest and it was created in a few minutes! Previously, I would spend hours creating promotional material, so well done ChatGTP. I’d be interested in hearing from other WordPress users on their opinion of ChatGTP?

In episode 2, I decided to share my story of how I got into food writing, blogging and then YouTube. You might know part of the story but this is a little more complete.
Making a podcast like anything else is a skill and one I am still learning. I tried using a teleprompter but after a few tries it became apparent that I just looked as if I was reading a script. So I decided to read and memorise my script hoping to remember all the salient points I wanted to include. I then used editing wizardry to include scrolls of 2 of my 5 of blogs plus photos of some of my recipes to make it visually interesting.
I am pretty happy with the result, but would love some honest feedback. Talking to the camera is not natural or an easy thing for me to do, particularly as an older man, but I love the challenge of trying to learn and master a new skill.
Very handy tips here mate.
